writtenword.org is a co-op style project to provide non-profit writing and related organizations a low-barrier-to-entry solution to Internet promotion and marketing of their members, services and events.

This solution is intended to provide a low-cost, easy to remember web presence designed specifically to help non-profit writers groups and individual writers market and promote themselves more professionally. Members share the costs equally.

No attempt is being made to usurp the autonomy of member organizations. Site preparation, maintenance and content is in the hands of each group/member.
